So Sorry! :(

Hi guys! I just want to say I am so sorry for not posting in a while. I have so much going on, from school to other stuff. I know excuses aren't exactly a reason to forgive me, but I really, really am sorry. Anyways, you guys have waited long enough for a post, so let's get down to business!

First things first, right now I am spending the night with one of my friends named Hannah! We are working on hopefully getting her a blog soon, so when she does, I will post it on here and you guys can come check it out!

Moving on to beauty, can I just some love on my Burt's Bees? I mean really, guys, the stuff is just wonderful. Right now I am really in love with the tinted lip balm in the shade "Rose." It is super light and sheer, and also really soft on your lips, and it is a nice red color. <3

In the fashion world, can I even explain how much I am loving sweaters? Where I live it is still way too hot to wear sweaters, but I seriously have a ton that I am really looking forward to wearing soon!

Anyways, off to have some fun, so I will talk to you guys soon! Love ya!

Bookshelf Tour!!!

Hi everyone! This is a specially requested post, requested by "Tempy Tucker"! So, I am going to give you guys a quick tour of my bookshelf and some of its special features!

So, this is just the overview of my bookshelf, top to bottom, with all of my books and odd little doodads. Here she is, in all of her  blazing glory:

This is the very tippy-top shelf. It just has some porcelain figurines of angels and a lady. I also have a flower pot and two birthday cards.

Next is my first book shelf. It is covered with books because everyone in my family is an avid reader, especially my mom and me. So I have some random books, my Hunger Games series, the Inkheart series, some more random books, my The Clique series. I also have a little rose, some trophies, and a clay pot I made in 6th grade.

On the next shelf is a couple Stephen King novels, some classics (did I mention all of my books are in alphabetical order by author's last name?) Next are my Twilight books (don't like Twilight) and all of my Rick Riordan books. And of course, some random books are scattered amongst the shelf, as is with all of the shelves. I also have another trophy and a plaque,  picture I painted, a fairy, and a little Irish souvenir.

I really love the 4th shelf. It has my Divergent series, my Harry Potter boxed set (1-6) followed by the 7th next to the box, The Catcher in the Rye, Treasure Island, my Series of Unfortunate Events series, and a couple of miscellaneous books.

On the second to last shelf, I have my The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making book, my Little House on the Prairie boxed set, a cupcake piggy-bank from Target, a little doll that reverses from Goldilocks to the 3 bears, and some random little treasures.

The bottom shelf just has some random papers, school textbooks, notebooks, and my big white binder full of notebook paper. Since you can see it okay in the picture below, and it isn't an interesting shelf, I won't upload a picture just for that 6th shelf. You can admire its "beauty?" from the above picture. :)

Here are just some close-ups of cool stuff on my shelves.

1st) Best birthday card. I got this birthday card from my grandparents when I turned 10, and it has little hand-stitched hedgehogs on it. They are hand-sewn cards from Ireland, how cool is that?

2nd) A picture of a popsicle I painted a couple years ago.  It's a strawberry chocolate-dipped ice cream treat against a bright orange background.

Next, I have a little clay pot I made way back in the 6th grade. I used to have a hedgehog named Herbert, so I donned the top with two little hedgies with an apple balanced on their noses, and a little heart-shaped card and flower in front of them.

The last cool thing is a picture of my kissing the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle in Ireland. I went to Ireland when I was not yet 10, and we went to this castle and I was brave enough to do that. It was super scary, but also really cool.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and have a Spectacular Saturday!

Update (2)!

Hello! First things first, I left something out of my August Favorites post. I have been in love with my friend Gigi's (Gianna) eye shadow lately. It is some sort of MAC eye shadow. It is a dark, super shiny silver and it is so pretty!

So the other thing is that Sweetie Hearts You is now on Facebook! To see the fan page, click here. So, definitely check that out and give it a like! I am so excited that it is finally in Facebook!

Anyway, just wanted to update you guys on both of those things! Bye!

August Favorites!

Hello! I am back again! And this time, it is a favorites video, specifically, August. I have had a great August, from birthdays to school, to fun with my friends! How was your August? I want to know, so leave me a comment down in the comments section!

Also, I have a notice. The post I put up on How to Follow is now gone. I figured out how to add the "Following" widget to Sweetie (How I refer to me blog), so that post is gone and to be ignored. So, things are a lot easier, especially following this blog! :P

Anyways, let's get down to business , shall we? Here we go!

First, I have two purses. The first one is from Target, which Leah got me as a birthday present, and the second is a Coach purse my parents got me for my birthday!

Leah also got me a little green Target wallet/wristlet. It has little arrows on it and is sooo cute!

Next, I have some Sticky Notes I got at Staples while school supplies shopping. They are coral, teal, blue, lime green, and purple and soo purty! They are fun and happy, which I really like.

I also have a hand cream and a candle that I got from Bath and Body Works. You can see the haul here.

The next favorite is a red hair bow from Forever 21. It is super awesome, and adds a punch of color to any outfit!

Last, but certainly not least, I have the Lemon Drop EOS Lip Balm with SPF 15. I got this a Target today (I obviously love Target.) and it is great. It smells like lemon bars, which smell great in case of the event that you have never smelled a lemon bar before, so that is wonderful. And I also just really like EOS Lip Balms. I have a strange addiction to them. Does any one else have this problem???...

I hope you guys enjoyed this Favorites post. Let me know what your favorites are for the month of August. Bye!!!

 Love,

Bath and Body Works Haul!

Hi everyone! I am going to be posting a haul post today! :D Who's excited? I know I am! Since we are so excited (yeah right) let's go ahead and start without further ado!

So, the first thing I got was a little travel sized fine fragrance mist in the scent "Beautiful Day." It is so sweet and fruity and wonderful and the best part was, it was free! (I had a coupon!) So, that was certainly great!

Second, I picked up a True Blue Spa Shea Butter Creamy Cleansing Bar. (What a mouthful, right?)
I tried my mom's this year at the beach and I really did fall in love with it. It smells great, is super soft, and is just awesome. So, my mom actually bought it for me. Thanks mom! Now I get to use it 24/7!

Continuing the category of lotions and soaps, I also got a mini Shea Cashmere Hand Crème. This was also a little gift from my mom. Isn't she sweet? This stuff is super soft, and I'm not kidding when I say your hands will feel like baby hands!

Moving on, how could I go to Bath and Body Works without picking up some hand sanitizer? I only got one though, I had to restrict myself because I do have some still. I decided on a breezy scent, "Montana Mountain Air." If Montana really did smell like that, I just might consider moving there!

Now I only have left room scents. The first one I picked up is a room spray in "Fresh Picked Heirloom Pear." It just smells like the freshest pears imaginable. Like, just picked, still in the picking bucket fresh. My room smells great right now! Also, the little bottle is made to look like a green owl! How cute is that?

Last, but certainly not least, I purchased a mini candle in "Fresh Picked Farmstand Apple." I used it both last night and this morning while I was up in my room. I am really happy. It smells so good, and super fresh and apple-y! And apples really get me pumped up for fall, so this was a very good choice.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what your favorite fall candle is in the comments! I will talk to you guys later! Bye!

First Day of School!

Today was my very first day of 8th Grade! I had such a wonderful day once I got past all of the butterflies. I will admit that I was very nervous, new friends, new teachers, new school layout and it was all very unfamiliar, which are the perfect conditions for being nervous. I went to all of my classes throughout the day, and met the students in my classes and all of my teachers. I only have some of my friends in my classes (my best friend Leah is only in my Geometry class :( ), but all of my teachers were super friendly and great! I did get a little bit confused about my schedule but I'm pretty sure that happens to everyone. Right? Right. So, overall, it was a great first day back, and I assume it will be a great school year!

How was your first day of school? Let me know in the comments and I will talk to you guys later!

 Love,
