Sad Update Post :(

Hi guys! I have some news to share with you. :(

My post that is so special? Yeah, well, I haven't been feeling very well lately, so I have not gotten ANY work done on the special secret post. :( Sad face. Hopefully I will be feeling better soon and can get ready! However, at this rate, I don't know how soon this post will be able to go up. I will try really hard to speed up the process. Sorry!

Anyway, I am going to give you guys a hint. :) This post is going to be A) Long and B) It requires a bit of cleaning. So if you are able to figure it out, please do not post it in the comments! Let's see how many people can guess what it is! If you know what it is, just comment a smiley face! [  :)  ]

Update Post!

Hi guys! How has your weekend been so far? Mine has been peaceful. Anyways, let's get down to business.

So, I'm working on a really, really big post right now and it is going to take a while, because it requires a lot of work. Like, up to another week before it is posted. No hints on what it is about yet, but maybe in a future update post! :) I'm not sure how it is going to work out yet. Will I post as often as I promised? Of course. Will the posts be super captivating? Maybe not, maybe. Some might be, some might not. We shall see, right?

I will still post as promised. Don't worry! The only hint I've given so far was with my desk tour. And even that probably won't help you guys figure out what the post will be about! So, keep your eyes out for more posts, including possibly more update posts. Sorry this post was so boring guys. :(

Desk Tour

Hello! So today I'm going to give you guys a tour of my desk! This is where all necessary supplies for school, crafts, etc... reside. So let's begin!

So, this is an overview of my desk. Sorry about the lighting. :( Basically I have my bulletin board, my printer, my desk-top supplies/lamp, and my laptop.

This is my bulletin board. It helps keep my organized and also makes sure that I don't lose any important papers!

My desk has three drawers. This is the first drawer. It contains several things. So underneath the purple organizer, I have a dictionary, thesaurus, stationery, and locker supplies.

In the first row of the organizer, I have my most important stuff in all three drawers. So in the top left-hand corner, I have hair clips/ponytail holders, for if I need my hair out of my face. Next to that I have a little scented highlighter, along with 2 tubes of lip balm. Beside that, I have my little green stapler, followed by my earbuds (kept in a mini Altoids container), and last but not least, I have a bunch of little fun-shaped erasers.

So, in the middle row, I have one space filled with red/black pens, a bookmark, and a flashdrive, and in the other I have another bookmark, rubber bands, and other random little objects.

In the bottom row I have one big section filled with rulers, highlighters, and pens!

In the second drawer, I have only a few things. I have extra red/black pens, a paper bead roller (fun!), my Ipod box (Nano, 5th Generation, Green), a cup full of paper beads, and white computer paper.

In the third and final drawer, I have several little craft books, index cards, and Crayola Pip-Squeaks Markers.

On top of my desk is my printer. On top of my printer are some seriously important things. I have a glass jar filled with giant twig colored pencils. I also have a red cup with three divided sections. One section is filled with pens and pencils, another one is filled with a pair of scissors, dry erase markers, and a sharpie, and the third is filled with clips and sticky notes. Between the jar and the cup I have a Vera Bradley stationery kit in "Ribbons." In front of all of that I have a picture frame with a smiley sun and a pyramid holding 1 red and 1 black pen from Myrtle Beach.

That is my entire desk, all summed up! I love having such a large desk because it really is great for school, crafts, and organization! I hope you guys liked this desk tour! Au revoir!

A Certain Pinterest Board...

Hi guys! Today I'm going to introduce you to the world of Quinoa-the most fashionable toddler EVER. She has it all- high-end fashion, lots of friends, and a doting mother who buys her everything.

So I was stumbling around Pinterest earlier today when I found something interesting. I had been searching for cute little girls clothes when I saw a pin I found extremely funny. It was a picture of a little girl in a retro red-and-white polka dot romper. However, the caption was the best. It read, "I always give in to Quinoa's begging. First she wanted only the retro romper, quickly followed by the sunglasses, head scarf, and 50s diner as accessories. I’m such a sucker." I was enticed. I soon found out it was an entire board filled with pins of well-dressed toddlers. The board title was "My Imaginary Well-Dressed Toddler Daughter." The creator, named Tiffany Beveridge, decided she wanted to create an imaginary little girl to wear cute clothes, seeing as she has only 2 boys. I am now in love with the board and am a loyal follower!

You can check out the board yourself at http://pinterest.com/tiffanywbwg/my-imaginary-well-dressed-toddler-daughter/ !

The Holy City Salt Scrub Review

Hello! How have you all been? Today I wanted to tell you guys about a scrub that I really love- The Holy City Salt Scrub. This stuff is so amazing!

So, you can rub it on any part of your body. You rub it in well, let it soak for about half a second, and then you rinse it off with water. It is really great for washing your hands or exfoliating your legs and arms in the shower. It rinses off pretty well, but leaves you a little oily for a couple of minutes. And afterwards, your legs/arms/hands/whatever feel so soft and smooth!

I remember the first time I used this. I was at in this odd little store adjacent to Hyman's Seafood in Charleston, SC, when I saw this wonder, proudly displayed smack-dab in the middle of the store. Jars of it were stacked up on tables, and then some were on shelves on the sides of the walls. Those jars were right beside these little sinks. You could scoop a small amount into your hands and use it on your hands right there as a tester. I love testing things out so I was drawn to it! I used it, and for the rest of the day, eating lunch, shopping, even the entire car ride home, I could not stop rubbing my hands! They were just too soft.

After the softness wore off, I felt kind of sad. Luckily, I had purchased a jar! I picked the scent Vanilla because it smelled like cake (I really love things that smell like cake!). They had a lot of really good smelling flavors, but the overwhelming power of cake was just too much!

I now keep the jar in my shower and a little tub of it beside my bathroom sink. I love this scrub sooooo much. So next time you are in Charleston, SC, visit the Hyman's Seafood gift shop and purchase a jar of The Holy City Salt Scrub!

Colors of the Rainbow Tag!!!

Hello, everyone! I'm back! I had a wonderful trip, but I did miss you guys! Right now I am sitting here in my bedroom, my brother swinging in my hammock, trying to unpack my suitcase, but I really just don't want to unpack right now. I want to blog! So I am going to do the colors of the rainbow tag for fun! Here we go!

Red: Burt's Bees Gud Natural Softening Conditioner in Red Ruby Groovy

This conditioner is excellent! You can read a review on it on my blog here!

Orange: Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Purifying Cleanser with Real Mandarin Orange

This stuff is amazing! It really helps to clean your pores. Also, great for early mornings because it wakes you up!

Yellow: Bath & Body Works Pleasures Wild Honeysuckle Body Splash

This fragrance mist smells SO good! Very summery and happy. I don't think they sell it in the stores anymore :( but you might be able to order it off of Amazon.

Green: Victoria's Secret Deep-Softening Body Butter in Sparkling Citrus Dream

This body butter is one of my favorite lotions. It works so well, soaking in to your skin super fast so you don't feel greasy. It also smells delicious, but it isn't overpowering!

Blue: Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Pure Paradise Fine Fragrance Mist

This is my favorite fragrance mist that I own. It smells so summery and beachy, and I love it! It smells just like paradise, with it's fruity smell!

Purple: Herbal Essences Hydralicious Reconditioning Shampoo

This shampoo works well, as does the conditioner. It really makes you hair softer, shinier, and bouncier!

Pink: EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet

I love this lip balm. The flavor is so yummy! I talk about the balms on my blog here. I know pink isn't technically a color of the rainbow, but since I didn't split purple into indigo and violet, I thought I needed another color, and pink was perfect! :)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I tag all of you! You can either post this tag if you have a blog or you can do it in the comments! I would love to see what you guys have that is colorful in your cabinets!

Out of Town?

Eeek, guys! I am going out of town for a week, so I won't be able to post until I get back! That is seven whole days without a single post, so I am very sorry! I won't be back until late Tuesday night, so don't expect a post until probably Wednesday. I am so sorry! I leave tomorrow early in the morning (at around 6:00) because it is a 12-13 hour drive. It will be long and I will get to sit in the back of a car with my younger (LOUD) brothers for a total of about 24-26 hours. :( Not too fun. However, I am super excited about where I am going, and I know I will have a great time! I will miss posting, but I will make do.

 Love (but feeling kinda sad),

EOS Lip Balms

Hello everyone! I am here today to spread a word of love upon one of my addictions- EOS lip balms!!! I love them sooooo much! They are super fabulous, easy to hold (that sounds ridiculous, but you know what I mean?), come in delicious flavors, not super expensive, and are super cute! I have the tangerine, pomegranate raspberry, strawberry sorbet, and the Alice In Wonderland limited edition collection (which contains watermelon wonderland, blueberry potion, and sweet vanilla nonsense). I love all of mine! They are perfect for anywhere, your purse, bedside table, beach/pool bag, anywhere! I definitely recommend these to everybody. You can buy them at Target for only $3 dollars per balm. :) I love my EOS lip balms, and would really like to try out their lotion and shaving cream sometime!

Despicable Me 2

Hello everyone! How was your day today? I hope it was wonderful- just like you guys! This is going to be one of those posts where I just talk about something random that does not feature beauty, fashion, or organization.

So today I went to see "Despicable Me 2." I went with my cousins, aunt/uncle, grandmother, siblings, and my best friend Leah. It was really funny, and I know everyone enjoyed it, including me! I won't give out any spoilers (:P) but it was super awesome and a must see for all ages! I still do think the first one was better, but this movie still got five stars from me!

 "Lipstick Taser!"

I want one of those. Oh the stuff I could accomplish with one of those by my side.....  :)

Anyway, goodbye guys! I probably won't be able to post tomorrow, but I will see what I can do! Happy early 4th of July!

 Love,

Product Review: Gud from Bert's Bees Conditioner!

Good afternoon, everyone! I just wanted to tell you guys about a certain product that I really like love. The product is the Gud from Bert's Bees Natural Softening Conditioner. My favorite scent is their grapefruit and thyme smell, "Red Ruby Groovy." It smells like heaven! It is citrusy, with a splash of lemon-herb from the thyme! I have several reasons why I LOVE this conditioner:

1) It smells absolutely wonderful! (Yummy!)
2) It really does make your hair softer. I have slightly coarse hair and this makes my hair soft and smooth!
3)It is all natural. No parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals.
4) Not tested on animals. (I love animals, especially dogs and whales, so this is a crucial factor.)

See? Doesn't is sound absolutely amazing and fabulous?! It really is. I recommend it to anyone who really like great-smelling conditioner and anyone who has coarse hair. It is simply wonderful, guys!

 Love,
  Madeleine <3

Look at it! It is even in a pretty container!
